We are excited to partner with Horsey Habit of Manitowoc for an ‘Easy Bake Sale’ week of fundraising. Horsey Habit of Manitowoc is generously hosting a week-long fundraiser to benefit In Courage! If you are a baker and can make a 'grab and go' plate/baggie of goodies (cookies, muffins, bars) or a holiday pie please consider signing up via the link below. Baked goods that are individually wrapped (serving size 4) and holiday pies can be dropped off at Horsy Habit starting Monday November 13-18th. There will be a silent auction of beautiful new hand bags as well; all proceeds from the bake sale and auction will benefit In Courage! OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and across the country, battered women's advocates are joining elected officials, health care providers, business leaders, police officers, faith-based groups, concerned citizens and many others to organize events and activities that raise awareness about domestic violence. We at "in courage" have a line up of DVAM activities throughout the month, which we will post. At this time, we are raising awareness to domestic violence with this personal story video. Please "Like" or just share your thoughts, if you wish.
