WHAT IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RAPID RE-HOUSING (DV RRH)?
The DV RRH program provides support and guidance for families and individuals fleeing domestic violence on their journey to find permanent housing. The goal is to help survivors facing homelessness as a result of their circumstance find a safe place to live. It is a medium term rental assistance program that can last up to two years.
HOW IS THIS PROGRAM DIFFERENT THAN THE SECTION 8 VOUCHER?
DV RRH does not just hand participants a voucher. Rather, it offers regular case management and home visits, referrals to community services, and life skills. Clients work with their case manager on a housing stabilization plan to help them work towards stability. The program also assists participants in building landlord-tenant relationships and offers a staff person to assist with mediating any concerns that arise.

How It Works
- Tell us about your properties and we’ll find tenants quickly. Use your own screening criteria.
- Once you approve a client, we’ll arrange for an inspection of the unit to make sure it meetings housing quality standards.
- Once the unit passes, you’ll review and sign our rental assistance contract which will define client and agency responsibility for monthly rent.
- Execute your lease agreement with the tenant.
- Receive payments for rent on a monthly basis.
